Complex programs get delivered by people who have done it before.
Axiem provides senior delivery leadership for high-stakes programs, with particular depth in AI and the large-scale transformation work around it. The kind of leadership that turns a stalled or high-risk initiative into one that reaches production.
The problem this solves
Large programs rarely fail for lack of talent or tools. They fail when scope shifts faster than governance can respond, when accountability is spread across too many owners, or when the people running them have never navigated a program of this complexity before. AI raises the stakes further, because the path from pilot to production is less certain and the business case is harder to hold onto under pressure.
What these programs need isn't more process. It's steady leadership that has recovered troubled initiatives, held complex delivery together, and knows where these programs tend to break before they break.
Structure, accountability, a straight line to outcome
Axiem leads programs the way the most demanding ones have always been run, with structure, clear accountability, and a straight line from business case to outcome. In practice, that means:
-
Delivery leadership, end to end. Ownership of the program from planning through deployment, cutover, and stabilization, keeping business and technology teams, vendors, and executives moving in the same direction.
-
Governance that holds. Steering committee leadership, executive reporting, and disciplined management of risks, issues, and dependencies, so leadership always has a clear and honest view of where things stand.
-
Recovery when programs are off track. A track record of stepping into challenged initiatives, restoring delivery discipline, and getting them moving again.
-
AI-aware judgment. Direct experience with AI-enabled delivery, from intelligent automation and NLP solutions to enterprise ML initiatives, so the leadership guiding your program understands the technology it depends on.
The experience behind it
Axiem's program delivery is led by its founder, Chris Kefalas, who brings more than twenty years leading complex technology and transformation programs for Fortune 500 companies, public sector organizations, and regulated industries. That work spans PMO and EPMO leadership, large-scale modernization and cloud transformation, and program recovery, delivered inside global consultancies, and directly for enterprise clients.
In recent years, that delivery work has increasingly centered on AI-enabled initiatives, including a cloud contact center transformation built on NLP and AI-powered routing, and the prototype design of a global manufacturer's first enterprise machine learning program. It's delivery discipline built over decades, now applied to the programs defining this next wave.
How it works
Program delivery sits at the Operate stage of Kontour, the Axiem outcomes model. Engagements are scoped to the program, whether that means leading it from the start, stepping in to recover one that's stalled, or providing senior delivery leadership alongside your existing teams. Every engagement runs with defined milestones, clear accountability, and a governed path from business case to production.
Axiem leads the program. It doesn't build, sell, or resell the technology, which keeps its judgment independent of any platform or vendor.
If you have a program that needs to reach production, let's talk.
The stakes are too high to leave delivery to chance.
